The dryer will run, but it will not heat to dry the clothes, and the dryer will not automatically turn off. The dial will move by itself but stall at the end and keep running-help!!!
It sounds like your heating element has gone bad. The dryer has a sensor within it that detects that amount of moisture in the dryer. It will keep running until it doesnt sense any moisture. If the heating element is not working, the clothes will not dry. You can replace this element if you are somewhat handy. It it sometimes hard to find an element but you may be able to find one on-line if your local appliance store does not have one in stock. Good luck.
Thank you so much!!!! I thought that was the problem-however, others had me jumping through hopes and costing alot of money. What you stated is sooooo logical. Again, thank you-I will find an element tomorrow. Take care!Thank you so much!!!! I thought that was the problem-however, others had me jumping through hopes and costing alot of money.
