The durabrand 1700
I have made home movies with pinnacle studio 11, and they play on the durabrand 1700 if they are 1 hr long... anything longer the sound and video speed up... is there anything i can do to correct this on the dvd player... the dvd's work on my regular dvd players...
i have taken home movies from video, loaded them in the computer using pinnacle studio software, the 1 hour burned movies play ok,but any longer than that the durabrand 1700 dvd plaver speeds up the movie and sound.. it does the same thing with movies that are downloaded from the internet and can be burned for personal use.. these movies play fine on the regular dvd players, but the portable plaver (durabrand 1700) plays them fast

It could be the codec u use to encode the movie,
secondly could be a firm ware problem of your dvd player.
Other than this I can't think of any other reason. or just may be the type of recoreder u use or the recoding programe. If u had check these, then get another player

PS. the player firmware is the main reason to me.
