The DVD will be mechanically locked in place if the load sequence has completed. Any attempt to force the unit open will break the gears or jump some teeth which will prevent hte unit from working properly. Unplugging the unit should reset the unit to the "home" position. If eject does not work at that point, post here if you can hear hte motor attempt to work. If you hear nothing, there are a couple of possibilities, none of which are simple for the homeowner. If you hear a whirring, the loading belt may be slipping. If that is the case, gently lift on the clamper and hit eject, that may release enough tension to allow the unit to unload. The clamper is the center disk that magnetically clamps the disc to the table that spins.
If the DVD door does not open then try to press manual switch eject if this does not work then try on the remote even this fails then unplug the unit form mains for 30 min and power it on try again if this fails ,there some DVD model with small pin hole next tray .insert a this thick wire then trey will open , this could the result of the hard ware failure you need to get it serviced by the company if its under or get it in local DVD player repair center...

Plug out the player for 5min from wall power and then plug in.
else you wil have to open the player and push it out manually.
sorry. due to some slow connection it got posted twice.
look for a pin hold near the player door.
if present you can use a safety pin to push a lever which you can feel with help of pin.
if the lever is pushed it the door is pushed out by force.
try this and post back the results
