The electrical cord on my Necchi is completely dry rotted. Can it be replaced or do I have to buy the power source (black box with the push button on it). The cord is attached to the black box

Take a look and see if this is the correct cord. If so, you should be able to replace the power cord without having to replace the entire foot control.
