The eraser on my Cintiq 12WX does the same thing as the pen nib
I bought a Wacom Cintiq 12WX two days ago. I've got a custom made comouter with Windows XP Service Pack 3, and Photoshop CS2.

My problem is that the eraser nib has got the same function as the pen nib. If the pen is set to zoom; the eraser zooms, if the pen is set to smudge; the eraser smudges.
In control panel, the eraser nib is set to it's default, "erase" so that's obviously not the problem either.

I heard a roumor that the problem could be solved by uninstalling photoshop, reinstalling the tablet driver, and then installing photoshop again. Tried it multiple times with slight variations like deleting preferences or registry info, but none worked. Same issue when PS was reinstalled.
I also heard that the problem is supposedly only with Photoshop. Some guy recommended Corel Painter. But hey, I've spent many many years getting to know Photoshop, so that switch won't ever happen.

But what am I to do? I really don't want to have spent 999$ on something that makes me feel like using my barely working old cracked open Intuos3 instead.
So far my pleads for help has been either ignored or unsuccessful. Please help a very frustrated man get this stuff working.
