The first battery light keeps flashing when I turn on the control. I believe it is locked, but I have no idea how to get it unlocked. It is a Merits MP1 electric folding wheelchair

If you are getting just the red light blinking then the batteries are low and not fully charged. If you have been charging and are still getting just the one blinking light then either your charger is not working or you have bad batteries. Hope this helps
