The pump may be defective also check the relay for faults.
This what I have for fuel pump relay, The relay should be in under hood fuse box. There are two sides to relay, the control side and the switch side, the switch side is that line with arrowhead, left side in relay picture. You could unplug relay, use a jumper wire in cavities for switch side of relay, to see if fuel pump will run? The control side of relay is the right side in the picture of relay, has to have voltage and ground. The top wire on that side is voltage comes from main relay. The bottom wire on that side is chassis ground.
can you send me another picture of the relay control side and the switch side one more time? the picture disapear for some reason.
I'm looking at your post and I see the diagram. Just to add, bbbind.com has free wiring diagrams. The past several days, I've had problems posting on this site, f0r some reason.
Besides checking relays and fuses if you changed the fuel pump you had to lower the gas tank if you did that and you are sure that you plugged everything in then there is a fuel pump driver module inside the trunk if all fuses and relays and pump are good and plugged in then the module is burned out or you damaged the plug go to rockauto.com and look up your car and the part so you can see what it looks like it's a black box with a cast aluminum base with 2 bolts and one plug in connection
When you replaced the fuel pump might have set off the inertia switch check if needs to be reset
how do i check the relay for faults?
Check if it has a fuel pump cut off in the trunk. If u hit a pot hole hard enough it will disconnect the power to fuel pump. It's a fire thing
It should be the druverside module
how do i check a druverside module to make sure it is bad?
Start with the ignition switch and the fuel pump relay
You might of replaced the fuel filter not the pump, the pump could be im the gas tank itself, could be a submersible pump..
how do i check the fuel pump relay?
if the fuel filter is plugged don't the fuel pump suppose to come on when i turn the key to run?
