The garden hose was used to siphon water from a dirty pool. The hose was connected to the pressure washer without cleaning out the hose and turned on. After a few minutes he couldn't get pressure from the unit. Water does flow from the hose but it wont build up pressure

Hello, check the hose connection on the pump. There is generally a screen there to prevent dirt from entering the pump. Clean off this screen and all should be well.

I have a pressure washer as well. Do not run the unit without the screen, ugly things can happen. Let me know what you find.
