The hose connecting the dryer to the outside vent has separated into two pieces with the inside wire exposed. The outside of the hose has a metal coating. I'm not sure of thr exact model number but it is a basic front loading dryer. Do I need a replacement hose? If I can't do my own repair, which type of business should I contact, if not an appliance repair? The dryer is working so far, but the problem probably needs to be fixed eventually
Purchase a new hose and do the work yourself, its a lot cheaper and not difficult to change out, at most one hour to remove the old damaged hose and replace it!!! Contacting an appliance review will cost you anywhere from 100 to $200 bucks for something you could do for $15
