I believe your model number is closer to the GSS25KSTASS. If so then it is possible that the dispenser board is shorting out. Many times it will be the part number WR62X10055 dispenser door solenoid that causes the problem. If someone has an OHM meter and can unplug the pin plug at the hinge top or bottom of freezer door we need to run some voltage test. We need to see if voltage is present there and if yes leave it unplugged until we know that there is no short circuit that could damage the motherboard. When you are ready please let me know, Sea Breeze.

Sea Breeze, Nope, not asking a question, just trying to help. I was never able to find a solution to my problem beyond answers saying to replace the main control board. I did and it didn't. Sorry for posting in the wrong location. I didn't see an obvious link to just post a solution for someone else to find.Sea Breeze, Nope, not asking a question, just trying to help.
