The igniter glows for a couple of seconds, then shuts off before the gas turns on. It usually works on the second try, but at least once a day it goes through all 3 tries and goes into the 3 hour reset mode. The circuit board light has a single flash which only indicates that it failed to start. Is there a timer problem with turning on the gas, or is there a sensor problem that does not know the ignitor is glowing? I have cleaned the thermo coupler with an emery cloth, but that should only fix a problem with the gas not staying on. Once the furnace does ignite, it continues to run until the thermostat tells it to turn off
Hi, The most probable reason for what is happening is that the pressure switch is not holding in.....that can be caused by a blocked intake or exhaust pipe...water in the blower or intake or exhaust piping... a pressure switch going bad... or water in the tubing that connects the pressure switch to the blower and heat exchanger...
Could also be a sign of a cracked heat exchanger....
To find out what it is exactly you will need to do a series of tests to determine what is causing the switch not to make all of the time...
Here is a tip that will help you try to figure out why your furnace is not working.

Great!!! hope you get it covered under warranty also...
Have a great weekend!!
Great!!!
Glad you are nice and toasty again!!
Check to see if you are getting 40volts AC to the igniter? Here is a flow chart to help you with the troubleshooting process.
