The keyboard of Logitech dinovo cordless desktop stopped working
The keyboard of Logitech dinovo cordless desktop combo (keyboard+mouse) suddenly stopped working. I tried all the usual solutions, but none was successful.

I tried:
- replacing batteries
- reconnecting keyboard with the receiver dongle
- rebooting the system

The funny thing is, there are two buttons on the keyboard THAT STILL WORK: the media key in the lower right part of the keyboard, which brings up WinAmp. And the "hibernate" button with the moon symbol (upper left), which puts the computer to sleep mode. None of the other buttons work. (And by the way, the numerical detached keyboard still works fully.)

Which leads me to believe that the connection between keyboard and the receiver dongle is working, the batteries are okay, and the driver is loaded. Why none of the other keys work on the main keyboard is a total mystery to me. Is it possible that some internal part of the keyboard (maybe IC controller) failed, but only partially? Really weird.

If it matters: I've had this keyboard for about two years now, and had no problems using it till now. I'm using WinXP SP 2.
