The machine pours out hot water but when i put a k-cup in it nothing comes out?

So today i wanted some coffee so i inserted a k-cup, it started to make the noise as if it was going to start to brew but 10 seconds later nothing came out. So i took the k-cup out just to see if water would come out and it did. So i know the problem isn't a descale problem. I just can't figure it out.
