The monitor lights up but stays all bright white
I already use a similar monitor and I love it.I bought the second one at succession auction, the previous owner is dead so not much info from him.
I know that these monitors have an antitheft device.Could that be the problem.According to the deceased owner's son,is dad was using the monitor until he died an he is not aware of any previous problem.
PLESE HELP ME ,I really would like to use this monitor on my second computor.THANKS M_Malou

I think that monitor might have been retired before you bought it; the white screen says that the backlight is working but the pixels are not being controlled by video so either the video cable is trashed or the input electronics are no longer functional.
You might try the following:
Go to the Control Panel, System, Monitor and delete the monitor listed. Then, with the monitor connected and on, reboot the PC to force Win to 'find' the monitor and install a fresh copy of the driver for it.
If that doesn't work, you may just have a paper weight.
