Hi, Either the paddle is sticking or the belts are slipping. Take the pan and paddle out of the machine and try turning the paddle by hand. It should be nice and smooth. If not the sealed bearing is failing and the pan needs to be replaced. If ok then check the belts. Belts and motor are located in the base of the machine. Unplug it first before checking. Also, make sure the pan is seated in the machine correctly. Hank
