The nut on the seperator on my e series is frozen on , how do I get it off and can I use the e2 series seperator on an e series. Aparently the e series nut and seperator had to be take off more often or it freezes on...I bought a used one that's stuck and It works but I can get the seperator off to clean

Do you have a friend who is a car or motorcycle mechanic? The acorn nut you refer to can be removed with the use of a small air impact wrench. Make sure the wrench is set to REMOVE (anti clockwise) the nut and give it a short burst. Never fails.
You can't use a different separator. The models are different. The good way to get the nut off is to use some solvent that pump repair places use.
