If you have a lot of hours on this amp, You may have some bad grounds. These will need to be resoldered. Inspect the board carefully under a magnyfying glass for rings around transistors that are mounted on heatsinks. The heat sinks are tall aluminum fins that are used to dissapate the high heat from these transistors and ICs. I bet you need to resolder the sound amp IC...has about 7 pins. Also check those capacitors..some may be bulged, peeling, or just plain dry. Find someone who can use a cap checker! These are good starting points. Nothing is completly shorted yet. If it was you would have a blown fuse...but we are trying to prevent this! Good Luck!
