The power cable on my montor no longer works but the plug looks like a shaver plug is this right and can you recommend somewhere to get a new cable changed the fuse and everything

It may be power supply problem, most monitors the same power cable as the PC (three prongs USA plug on one end and IEC C13 on the other end).
