The primer bulb on this string trimmer wont recede. I started priming and after just two primes the bulb is squeezed in and wont come up. What could be the problem

When the primer bulb sticks down either the cause can be
1. Fuel line is clogged
2. Fuel shut off is in the OFF position (if installed)
3. Fuel tank pick up tube is folded over or clogged. (inside the fuel tank)
I checked this model number: 41AJBT-C966 and it did not cross exactly. I found several C966 diagrams but they all have different engines from 25cc all the way to 65cc. If you need more help it will help me help you if you know your engine model number (i.e TB25 TB42 etc.) and would post it in your response.

I have similar problem but my primer bulb doesn't get any fuel I took it out put fuel on the bulb close it again and squeeze it to see if th fuel goes in and it doesn't. ..I cleaned the carb with carb cleaner and it still has the same problem. ..if I put gas straight on the carb where the filter goes it starts for a couple of seconds. ....can someone help me find a solution????
You have either a clogged fuel line or a clog in your carborator.
