If you turn off at the main switch and leave off for 2 hrs this sometimes will reset on its own but if you hold the cancel button in for a few secs that will empty it and reset
Unfortunately, there is no cancel button. I've left the washer unplugged for 8 hours (overnight) and it still returns to the wash cycle no matter what program is selected. I called customer support, and they too could only recommend unplugging the unit and/or turning it on and off.
I've noticed in the past that the unit will return to the interrupted portion of the cycle when, for example, I turned if off to redistribute the load during the spin cycle. But in that case the unit was only turned off long enough for the door to release.
I'll add one more element that may be helpful to know. In the immediate case the reason the wash cycle was interrupted was because the unit was leaking water. I turned it off and the tub drained (into towels on the floor of the room). I fixed the leak at the drain pump housing and reinstalled the back panel. Upon restart the unit refilled properly and continued the wash cycle, where it has remained for hours.
Thanks for any suggestions.Unfortunately, there is no cancel button. I've left the washer unplugged for 8 hours (overnight) and it still returns to the wash cycle no matter what program is selected.
