The remote quit working. The tivo box works ok,
I have 2 remotes and the box will not respond to either if them. They were working fine, and all of a sudden quit. I have tried cleaning the sensor , disconnecting the tivo, and switching all the remote batteries.

I hope the tivo is still under warranty, it sounds like it's time to call them, sorry I couldn't be of better assistance.
You can check the operation of a remote control with a cell phone camera. Point the remote at the lens and press buttons, if you can see light, the remote is ok, and you have a problem with the TIVO.
