The rollers at the bottom of the sweeper have things stuck around them
The rollers that pick up the dirt at the bottom of our Dyson has pieces of old rug and strings wrapped around it and I am having trouble running the sweeper and picking up dust and dirt.
Also the yellow top of the place you empty the dust out of has dust stuck int he holes which I guess is the motor and when I empty the plastic tube I can't get the dust particles out of the holes in the motor.

You need to start with a pair of scissors and patience. Sit on the floor with the vacuum roller visible and accessible. Snip a string and pull it off. If the roller stops, cut string at that point. Try again. this is time consuming, but necessary. We borrowed a vacuum from a family that had four girls with long blond hair. We had to de-hair the roller before it would work sufficiently on our carpet. Once the hair was off, it worked GREAT! It was so wonderful that we went out and bought a Dyson of our own; now we don't have to remove long blonde hair from the roller to get it to work.
