The sat button on my remote is rapidly blinking, and now most of the other buttons will not work
The sat button on my remote just started rapidly blinking and now, for the most part none of the other buttons work. If I hold the sat button, it'll stay solid. If I hold it for several seconds, all four of the buttons at the top (sat, tv, dvd, aux) will solidly glow, but, again, the other buttons will not work. Except, strangely enough, I've discovered the volume down button works. Not up or mute, just down. So far haven't discovered any other working buttons. Batteries are perfectly fine, by the way.

When the SAT button blinks repeatedly, or the buttons do a dance (Sat & DVD, TV & AUX, repeat) it means you need new batteries. Replace all four AAA batteries, ensure they are all four aligned the same way, and then hit SAT. Your remote should return to its normal function. If you leave the batteries out for too long, the remote will forget how to operate the TV and receiver, so be sure to have all four new batteries ready before you remove the old ones.
