The Scanner is set up, paired and Connected through the usb cord it comes with so when I scan a Bar code it beeps but it DOES NOT place the numbers on the Computer Screen
Try to reinstall it if you have a driver for it ...it beeps cause it makes the scan ..being powered via Usb ...but it do not transmit the data cause it do not communicate to the computer ... Try to take a look into the device manager to see if you find it by name and installed(if it is in yellow it means that is not installed) in this case ..insert the disk that came with it .. choose the operation system you use and install the driver ...restart and try again to see if it works.. to verify it ...you get to the device manager by right clik on computer ../properties hardware...device manager
I didnt find any reference for a driver on this product ..so I guess is either automatically or it has it in the receiver ...so ...to look for it you should open the USB ports ..(the last in the list ) ..you should find it there ..at least as an unknown device ...clisk right and install and let windows see what to do ...my only concern (being a second hand) is not to have a problem itself ...cause this kinda devices are seen by the windows in the second you insert them ...and the wizard should scan for a DRIVER ..another thing that you should try ..is to run the add new hardware wizard from the control panel ..and let it scan for devices... a restart to the computer should also find the hardware ...automatically
