Yes, your programing just got messed up. Plug it in and then run the command prompt program. Start...run.... and type in "cmd'"
Once the prompt window opens up, type "fomat f:" or what ever drive letter your mp3 is. hit enter. the mp3 player will re-format and then it will work as usual.
