The screen keeps intermittently freezing, I have tried taking the battery out - sometimes it will work again, sometimes it won't. I have deleted apps such as facebook and email accounts. I can make and receive calls on it, but other than whatever app it has frozen on I can't use it!

Flashing the software might help, at this point that must be the only solution...but i would say i need to know more about the problem, when the fault first occured, past histories of mishandling, how old the device is etc
have u tried using a memory card cos i saw that happen once when i used a 1Gb memory card... even if not can u try removing the memory card and operating the device? if ur problem is solved then format the memory card on a laptop and then use it....
