Unfortunately, this seems to be an ongoing problem with AOC and they don't seem interested taking care of their customers. We had this same problem, so we sent it to the factory for warranty repair (at considerable cost to us). We had the tv back from the factory for just a short time when the same problem happened again. This time we won't waste the money on shipment. Instead, we will replace it with another brand.
The best solution seems to be to avoid buying this tv in the first place, if too late, then replace with a reputable brand.
