The seat on my 07 Piaggio BV 250 is stuck shut. The electric latch release makes a clicking sound, but the latch will not release. The manual release will not release the latch either. The seat can be raised slightly to insert a screwdriver to try to force the latch open, but have not yet done so successfully. Should I insert a hacksaw under the seat and cut the seat lock hook or try to force the latch open with screwdrivers? @
