The sound of the ''shure m44-7'' only sends a signal to the left side of my headphones and master. the cables are wired in the good colour and seem to be steady, what else could it be?
If you are only getting sound from one channel try reversing the left and right channel cables from the turntable to the Preamp/Amplifier. If the sound switches channels in your headphones then the cartridge or the cables from the cartridge to the preamp in the turntable have a problem. If the same channel has sound, did not change channels, then you have a problem with the preamp or headphones. If the headphones work with another input, radio, cd, etc, then the headphones are good and the problem is in the preamp unit.
