Honestly there is only a few ways to fix a Zippo. The company itself has a lifetime warranty on all its parts, so you can actually contact them via their website and send it to get fixed. Or what I would do it look for a junk zippo at a pawn shop or a thrift store and take the spring out of that one. Zippo parts are very easily interchangeable, and the design hasnt changed much in decades.
