The system has slowed down considerably since I loaded XP
We got a new hard drive and installed XP. The hard drive is quite fast. One of the most expensive from CPC. Since then the system has slowed down considerably. Question
1) Can I disable part of xp as I only use this computer as home user and internet?
2) I do not know how much RAM I have in the computer. (Serial no WO 00695416. Can you tell by looking up the serial no. in your records
3) If I increase the RAM size will it work faster?
4) If so can you please tell me by how much I should increase the RAM by?
5 How much will it cost me?

Chek the hdd driver as well
expensive hdd maybe need extended driver
chek your hdd sectors too
maybe there any bad clusters in your hdd
and check for your windows too
mybe it's need to reinstall it again
