The think is leaking at the cutoff ... I have checked the hose leading to the motor ... thought that could be the case... nope ... now even when fitting is shut off it is leaking so I checked to see if the connection was good to the tank it is solid... what could it be?

www.generator-parts.com is where you can get it from. These things sometimes leak and replacement is the only remedy.
