The top oven of our AEG D5701-4 is slow to heat
The top oven of our AEG COMPETENCE D5701-4 has started to take a long time to heat up (half an hour to reach 200 deg C). The grill still works properly. The temperature control neon light remains on whilst heating up, so I don't think the problem is with the thermostat. Can you help?

The AEG Competence D4100-1 oven is a load of expensive rubbish.I am going to throw mine out and get a good cheap oven of a different make.Stay away from AEG as their products are very poor quality.We have had nothing but trouble with our oven and our hob. Also no help from AEG customer services.
Hi it could be the element on the grill it maybe burning out, what slows the grill to get hot quicker. best to turn of the mains or by the main switch. and get a toorch to check around the element or use a continental reader check if it is receving 240volts
