The TouchPad on my three month old E627 (Vista Home Premium platform) has stopped working. I've tried 'cleaning it' - using pressure on the pad to release any debris and re-installed the driver. Is it time to take it back to the retailer?

Try using the function keys to enable the mouse. I'm unsure which of the 'F' keys it is, but if you can locate the picture, then hold down the Fn key + the appropriate 'F' key and hope that the mouse starts to work. Also you can try loading into the BIOS, hitting F9 to reload refaults, and then F10 to save and exit. Failing these both, best option would be to go back to retailer. Good luck
