The valve cover gasket was changed. (Left side) Consequently the cruise stopped working control
Mechanic today fixed a burned harness under the steering wheel and 2 fuses in the engine compartment, changed the buttons checked the computer, tried temporarily a new sensor... No luck so far

You need to go here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Trace out the circuit then do electrical testing , don't play the guessing game or parts roulette . Go an watch some basic electrical trouble shooting videos on you tube , also how to read a wiring diagram etc.....
Check the connections in the area near the replaced valve cover for anything cruise related that could have been bumped loose during repair.
