The water no longer heats up - the lights are on
Somehow, the machine remained switched on during the day so that there was nothing but water over the side and the red 'on' light on when I returned home. I am presuming that, either, the element has died or there is a safety cutout or the thermostat has died and cut it all - it seems strange that no fuse has gone if the element has gone?
Any ideas? If it's something straightforward, I'd rather fix it myself than send it away.

There is a 'magic' fuse button hidden in the base of the unit, concealed by a rubber gromit. Pull out the gromit, press the red button and it should come back on.
