Your humidifier has a circulating fan that draws the room air over the coils. If there's no air movement out the front or back of the unit, the fan motor may be burned out or stuck, or the fan blade may be broken. If so, you need to replace the fan motor or the fan blade.-----This humifier has a black drive wheel and a white idler wheel. On some humidifiers , the idler wheel froze up which causes the drive wheel to damage itself trying to turn the drum. First, free up the idler wheel and replace the shaft it rotates on. The idler wheel is still available but you'll have to fabricate the shaft using a machine screw and hollow shaft from your local hardware store. When the idler wheel turns freely, the drive wheel (if still in decent shape) can do its job of turning the drum. If not, you can replace the drive wheel (also still available). for a temporary fix you can try this :-- put a small rubber band in the groove of the drive wheel and it will enable it to get the necessary grip on the drum. but if that does not help you need to get the wheel. This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
Well If there's no air movement out the front or back of the unit, the fan motor may be burned out or stuck, or the fan blade may be broken. If so, you need to replace the fan motor or the fan blade. The tank may be full. Your dehumidifier has a safety device that turns off the dehumidifier when the water tank is full. Usually the tank itself either presses against a switch or there's a device connected to the tank that triggers a switch when the tank is in place and full. If you've emptied the tank and the unit doesn't run, inspect the place where the tank rests to see if there's a switch or mechanism that's not being activated. You may be able to turn it on with a simple flick of your finger.

Hi there,

Good Luck!!
