The well pump moves a lilttle but doesn't spin just binds
Well when i got home i heard the water pump just humming when i looked at it it wasn't turning i turned the breaker off and on still the same but it moves a lilttle when you first turn it on what can i do to fix it take it apart clean the armature and everything will that work?

DO NOT TAKE IT APART ON THE CHANCE YOU MIGHT BREAK THE IMPELLER CALL YOUR LOCAL POOL PUMP MOTOR REPAIR GUY ... TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR PUMP AT ABOUT THREE FEET AWAY AND EMAIL THEM TO HIM..HE CAN TLL YOU HOWTO REMOVE YOUR PUMP ! SOME PUMPS ARE HARD TO FIND PARTS FOR !!!!! AND NEW PUMP ARE NOT CHEAP .. JAY O REMEMBER TO VOTE
Replace the motor start capacitorand this will take care of the problem its on the side of the motor
