Dont know about this american model but on our dinky toys here in europe what happens is the blus screen cleaner stuff a lot of people use makes the rubbers swell up ,so the valve cannot move across inside the washer motor pump ,so what i do rather than fit a new motor is to pull the pump out then on the bottom is a fitting with 2 outlets ,well i remove this and take the little piston with a rubber seal on each end and grind the rubber down on the bench grinder so it can move inside the chamber from side to side and refit the pump and it will live another day maybe even a couple of years ,the lever sender i think could have the same problem either the float is punctured or a rubber has swollen with the effects of this strong screen cleaner.I always use water with small squirt of genuine fairy liquid .
