The wyse 50 terminal does not work properly
1.the wyse 50 monitor displays the following information when computor off.
frst line: FDX
second line: a long line
third line: a cursor
2 a known good wyse 50 monitor displys a cursor only when computor off.
3 the monitor can not displays the data inputed by the computor, but good one can.

Wyse 50/60/150/160 monitors were my specialty!
From what you were explaining it seems to me that you have a bad internal battery and it needs to be changed and a factory reset/ calibration needs to be performed.
I can repair wyse terminals at my facility if you like. The repair cost is not that high and we can also perform the regular repair and adjustments on all wyse monitors if needed.
