actually, i fix them and sell the part..12.99 for the part and 49.00 to fix it and both include shipping, however, i currently do not have fixyas concent to either sell or repair this anymore for people on fixya.
there is a guy in the repair section that "MIGHT" repair it but he will not sell the part and for him to repair, his repairs start at 100.00 no mater what the problem.
i will ask the CM if they have made a decision yet as to this problem.
i fix these and many other magellan gps daily so when considering my advice , please understand i do not google my solutions.
