You will have to pull the front cover off and see where the wire is that is shorting. Once you have the cover off look where the power cord comes in and see if it is shorting there from there the cord goes to a transformer see if it is shorting from the transformer to the control board. Once you have the cover off in a dark room if you plug it in you may see where the wire is that is shorting with a spark. That is why I would do it in a dimly lite room.
