There is a small shrink wrapped component inside of the VEC046 with 3 wires coming from it. One wire is black, one is white, and one is red. My red wire is broken. Where is it supposed to connect? I can solder it back to wherever it's supposed to go. Thanks!

I would just match the colured wires to the same colored ones , re join red to exsisting red wire an vice versa
