This galaxy dx44v is a new thing to me.. what is the diff between am and fm?? i guess i had alsways thought one was for hamms and the other was a cb channel.. and i never had a radio with all them side channels how do you set it to use just the plan cb channels

Normal 1-40 uses AM.. there are many modulation forms. AM FM SSB CW and many other digital modes. its the same frequency just different way of voice modulation styles.
