Tiny holes in clothes
Our front loading Maytag washer continues to randomly give back clothes with several randomly placed tiny holes through the material, especially with T-shirts. Not always and not in all shirts in any given load. We have ruled out anything coming from outside the washer by putting brand new, unworn T shirts in the wash. These have also come out with tiny holes scattered throughout. The holes are round and do not appear to be angular tears. They look as if something nasty such as bleach splashed on the clothes when they were dry. However we have not used bleach with these loads. We only add bleach to the bleach container when we do a load of white socks every 10 loads or so. Help. We're running out of shirts.

I also have this problem. It appears to be the clothes rubbing against the rubber door gasket in the spin cycle. Try setting the spin cycle to a slower speed. This has reduced the holes, but not eliminated them.... still looking for a complete solution.
It's too soon to tell, but I think the cause of my problem is the screws on the handles on my drawers. The fronts of my shirts are right where the screws from the drawer pulls are. I think the screws may be scatching on the fabric. I put some duct tape over them, and I'm hoping this solves the problem.
