Title 'Bad Mojo' : Messed up in-game vids
My notebook has 64 bit vista, 4 gigs ram, dual 8800m cards, updated drivers and the most recent version of quicktime available. I installed Bad Mojo Redux from Gotgame Entertainment and none of the in-game videos play right. They scramble, they flicker black, the sound might chug. Usually all three of these things happen.
Oddly enough, the actual gameplay portion itself plays GREAT. I can move the little roach over sticky floors, bottle caps, and pre-chewed gum with the best of them, but of course the videos are meant to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding environment, so there goes a significant part of the atmosphere/story/clues/eye-candy right there.
I opened up the install directory and individually played some of the movies with Quicktime to see if I saw the same error, but they played fine. I don't think it's quicktime persee, but what do I know? The resolution scales down to really tiny to play the game, maybe that, combined with some other setting in vista is causing the issue?
