To start with the first thing you should check is the power supply board as blinking lights indicate that power is getting to the unit however, as its not working which means that the power board should be checked. To start with open the back of the unit and then check the power supply board for any bad (bulged/swollen) capacitors. Power supply board is the board where all the power cords/plugs goes into. After you have checked that also check the main board and if you can use a multimeter to test the components on these boards.
