Toaster will not stay down in toast position
I have ths Back to Basic toaster /egg poacher
The toaster will not stay in the down position
Toaster does work if held down.
I have taken the plastic cover off.
The white plastic part that guides into the copper guide on the toaster side seems to have a portion of the the white plastic missing!
How can i obtain a replacement part of the white plastic part?

The toaster lever is held down by a magnetic coil.
It is the small cube shaped thing with the red wire would around it. More than likely the coil is open. Second guess would be the coil is not being energized.
Outside chance the problem could be mechanical and related to the steel plate that will set on top of the coil when the lever is pushed down.
Uh, don't think there's a good chance, you could try to send toaster in for repair, but buying a new toaster is probably cheaper.
