Toilet has filled and even overflowed and waste has come into the bath. The pump is trying to work and staying on but nothing happening, we are guessing we have a blockage...what should we do?

Yes the sewer line is blocked, the best thing to do is call a plumber or do it yourself to unglog sewer drain.
