TOOK THE BOLTS OUT OF MINN KOTA AND CANT GET THEM IN. 2 SHORT
DISASEMBLED THE MOTOR WITH THE TWO THRU-BOLTS. NOW I TRIED TO PUT IT BACK AND THE BOLTS WONT TOUCH THE THREADS. TROLLING MOTOR IS A MINN KOTA MAXXUM FOOT CONTROLED 74 LB THRUST

Here's a schematic:
Max 74 Bowmount
Make sure the end housing #7has a small mark in it pointed to the bottom (towards the skeg). The bolts can be a pain to line up!
Also make sure the armature is all the way forward it can go....past the brushes is the toughest part to get through and lined up. Keep it up, you'll get it!
